This v4.01 is full of bugs, issues with new filter, lot multiplier etc, it's no good to use...

Here is 4.03 which I hope has had the problems fixed (except the news filter, I think within the EA it should be turned off, and the separate filter in the compressed file should be used instead), but hopefully the other bugs like lot multiplier are fixed, I haven't tested it yet....

4.03 contains the separate news filter, but the settings for news are still inside the actual EA settings, so I think the EA news filter settings need to be ignored.

However we need to check if the EA will run with those settings turned off. In 4.01 it wasn't possible to run the EA without turning the built in news filter on, yet it didn't work properly, so I turned it on, but didn't select low/medium/high news so they were ignored, I then ran a separate news filter (Ice FX).

In 4.02/4.03 the built in news filter settings have been changed. they are now missing the low/med/high boxes.

In 4.01 there are problems with the low multiplier and some other issues, we need to see if 4.02/4.03 have these problems, or they have been fixed, this is hugely important...

why it feels like the developers are rushing things out? timeframe inconsistency, multiplier and other issues, etc etc

What I'm sure about that 4.01 and 4.03 recommends different timeframes.

 

4.01 and 4.03 don't recommend different timeframes, either version has been designed for 4 hour or daily, with daily being safer... This software should absolutely not be ran on 1 hour charts, unless you want to blow your account. It may work for so long, but the risk is much higher

By the way, the equity protector doesn't work on 4.01 or 4.03 etc (I've just tested 4.03), it will close trades as a % of equity that you set, but the software will then just start buying more trades again... I think the buying of the EA is quicker than the equity protector.

I can see a big issue with 4.03 that I'm testing, the max number of levels doesn't work at all... I had it set to 6, but I have 8 trades open on EURUSD using the EA, that shouldn't happen if the max number of levels is working correctly.

 

Have you tested 4.02/4.03 and are also getting the issue with the max levels?
