What I like about this author is that he tries to prove the results he promises to achieve to himself and his students. He almost always presents some verification of the results.

For example, in his language course, he asks his students to take a professional placement test in order to ascertain their real level of proficiency in the language after using his methods for 5 to 6 months. Most of the learning "gurus" selling books out there don't do this. Or if they do, it's only with their personal results.
