I've started a little test with a demo account. I'm currently running three currencies (XAGUSD, XAUUAS and EURUSD) simultaneously. I'm looking for a way to mitigate the DD risk. If you only run EURUSD and you encounter a massive DD like we did two weeks ago, you not only risk to blow your account but it's also not making any momey for you during this time. Let's see how this pans out.

Hi Azure. Can you please share your set file, broker and min deposit recommendation. Thankyou

 

I use ICMarkets as a broker at 1:500 leverage. It is best to have a minimum of $100, but this broker has a minimum of $200.
In terms of settings - you can find my latest set file somewhere here, I've only lowered the martingale from 1.25 to 1.11, which I turn off (1.00) for accounts under $2000!
Also hours active should be from 7am to 4pm GMT. Friday until 1pm. And adjust these according to your broker time zone, for example ICMarkets is GMT +3, so the timings are 10am, 7pm and 4pm.

 

Yes and that can eat up your account.

 

Hey Azure, sorry for the late reply. I've been busy .. lol.

Yeah, the live account is going really well. I started on December 8th of last year with $1200 and currently I am at $9.073.12 with a 0.1 lot. I increase with 0.01 every $950. Going really well.



Also I have one live accoutn goign with two pairs : EURUSD and XAGUSD, also both are running well. I abandoned XAUUSD. Not that it didn't perform, because it does but I notice that the moves on XAUUSD are too big for a steady return. There are way better gold scalpers out there.

Started with $400 on the EURUSD and XAGUSD on April 16th 2021 and currently I am at :



So I can't complain.

I use Azure75's setting which have been posted in the thread a few times. Please have a look at those. And I the most lazy strategy possible : I loaded the settings in the EA, teaked a few things left and right but kept Azure75's settings mainly intact. And then I enabled the EA and watch the EA do its thing. Nothing to it.
