I like the strategy! It's a good mean reversion trading strategy with unique risk management. Some suggestions I'd have for people who want to try is you do need a raw spread broker or else your stops will get destroyed by slippage.

 

The other problem is that you never know where potential reversal points would be for price to come back to the daily pivot point. So I went searching for anything that would help and found some random indicator called "15 min system" by Rafael Zioni, slapped it on my charts along with daily pivot points indicator. Whenever price was below the daily pivot I would wait for a green signal from the system to print before targeting a 1:5 RR take profit at daily pivot + 5 other limit orders incase price wanted to pull back. It seems to work but it needs to be forward tested.

 

Price does need to be far away enough from the daily pivot before I'd take any signal from "15 min system". Also the EA that came with the course doesn't work for me on MT4 since I'm on a Mac (maybe?) so I'm doing all of this on tradingview manually.

 

These are the trades I would've taken in theory for the past 9 days, keep in mind this is in a perfect world where spreads and slippage never existed. I also might've taken some trades during spread hours but that just because I wanted to follow the rules of this system strictly. All the take profits are always on the daily pivot and the hypothetical risk for this 9 day backtest is 1% per trade.

 

The system is basically:
1. The price shouldn't be too close to the daily pivot
2. 15 min system prints green if price is below or red if above pivot
3. RR should be 1:5 for the first trade then the next 4 consecutive trades should have the same stop loss but the TP for all of them should target the daily pivot for increased RR
4. If all 5 trade positions hit stop loss no more trading for the day
Hypothetical rule that needs to be backtested: Close out all trades if the next 15 min system signal prints the opposite color
(Also keep in mind I'm doing this without using the trade spider so profits could increase or decrease if paired with the course's EA)

Yeah having the trade spider does make it so much easier, I found manually putting in every single trade a little exhausting
